Library club (for Years 1-6) is run on Tuesdays from 3.45pm to 4.45pm and costs £5 per half term.
Our library is well stocked with over 2500 books! They range from easy to read phonics books and picture books to longer chapter books like the Alex Rider and Wimpy Kid series. We also have a great selection of non fiction books from Art to Zebras!
Children are allowed to take 1 book home which must be returned before they can take out another one.
Our computerised library is also open at break and lunch times for those enthusiastic readers and is run by our dedicated team of library assistants from Years 5 and 6.
So if you would like to join library club, come and see Nim or Sue, the librarians.

Library club news
This half term some of our library club members have been taking turns reading to the other children. They discussed the books and set their own related activities. The children really enjoyed playing the role of librarian.
This term the Library club has already participated in reading books and doing activities about Chinese New Year, Valentines Day as well as different picture books. The library club members have also been learning how to scan the books in and out of the computer system – they particularly relish this responsibility! We still have 5 places left in the after school club, come and join us if you are interested.
The library has also acquired a lot of new books – from 100 facts about… books and new graphic novels. Hopefully you’ll enjoy them and if you have any suggestions as to how we can improve the library, please come and tell us.
