We have started our new Science topic with so many exciting activities! We are learning about the circulatory system and became a 'human circulatory system' as a class. Some of us were the heart, the lungs and the body parts; the rest of us were red blood cells. We were either oxygenated or deoxygenated and the heart would tell us which chamber to go to and where to go next in the body.

We also had a go at making blood replicas. We learnt about each part of blood (e.g. platelets and white blood cells) and their function, before adding them to our blood replicas. We used marshmallows were white blood cells, pompoms for platelets and glitter for the nutrients!
