Summer two has been a fantastic term so far! We have been working hard on our Take One Picture project. For this we have been doing lots of activities based on Shipwreck On Stormy Seas by Claude-Joseph Vernet. 

English: 

For English the students have decided they would like to work on poetry this term. For this we have been looking at alliteration and rhyming words from other poems which we can draw inspiration from!

Maths:

Maths this term has been all things angles! We have focused on obtuse, acute and right angles for week 1-3 and from week 4-6 we will be looking at the area and perimeter of shapes! The students have learnt how to measure angles using a protractor and also how to calculate area using their fantastic times tables!

Art:

Art this term has been very fun. We have looked at many different ways of showing coral. Week 1 and 2 we looked at paint and different methods of painting. Week 3 we have been making collages. This is all leading to us creating a whole class project in the coming weeks!

Extra Curricula activities:
