This week we took a trip to Monument and visited the many sites affected by the Great Fire of London. We used a map to guide us to each site and used our knowledge of the fire to imagine what they would have looked like in 1666.

We saw Pudding Lane and the location of the bakery where the fire started as well as St. Paul’s Cathedral (although this looks very different now).
