This week in Art and DT we have been busy designing and making bridges.

We looked at a range of different bridges from around the world, as well as thinking about our trips to Tower Bridge and the London Metropolitan Archives. We used this inspiration to sketch our own bridge designs which we then used to build our models.

We used junk modelling to create our bridges and had to think carefully about the strongest materials and shapes to use.
