Half of us got creative and made some art using Texan desert fauna (animals), unfortunately we didn’t get to identify any in real life, but it was interesting to look at the images as it links with our English book ‘Holes’.

While the other half of us found out how to be safe around the fire pit area, we practised how to move around the fire pit safely,  learnt about the Fire triangle had a go at lighting the fire steel and then even got a chance to toast some marshmallows.
