We read ‘Trees’ a recycled book all about trees and then we looked at the trees in Forest School area and identified ones that are deciduous and ones that are coniferous. We learnt the names of some trees and looked at the trees that Year 3 and 6 had planted. We found out about why trees are amazing and labelled the parts of a tree.

This week the children also chose to get creative with mud. 

They worked together to create their own mud paint and the mud kitchen was very popular, we had muddy burgers, mud cakes and all manner of muddy meals created.
