We have been researching what a seaside holiday would have been like during the Victorian times.

We used artefacts, photographs and books to research Victorian seaside holidays. We found out lots of information including the fact that people would 'sea-bathe' instead of sunbathing, and also get changed in bathing carriages. We also learnt about the things Victorian people would do on the beach such as watch a Punch and Judy puppet show and build sandcastles.

We compared Victorian seaside holidays to seaside holidays now and noticed lots of similarities and differences.
