This week we started looking at maps.

We looked at a range of maps including a world map, a globe, a London Underground map and birds eye view maps of the local area.

We learnt what birds eye view means and that maps are drawn looking down on an area.

We went up to the Sky garden to look down on our playground and spotted human and physical features from the Sky garden. We then had a go at making our own maps of the playground with some key features we spotted.
